I’m a work in progress. As you can tell by my posts, I’m really into the outdoors and generally being active. I’m also into gardening, cooking, playing the guitar, swimming in the ocean.. all kinds of stuff.

I work in marketing and operations for the Huntington Beach branch of Arthur J. Gallagher. It’s been a very rewarding experience and I approach the work as a privilege rather than a burden. One thing I’ve never fully understood is complaining about work. You don’t HAVE to work, you GET to work. If you don’t want to work, then don’t. If you do, then treat it like the choice that it is. Do the work, do the best you can, all day long, then when you wake up the next day, do it again. If you do that long enough, you might get good at it. How good do you think you’ll be if you mentally check out before you even show up? If you’re going to do something, you might as well at least try to be the best.

I’m getting married! Not sure how she puts up with my rants. I’m very lucky. www.davidandcallie.com
